About Jaden –
The essence and passion behind my company is fueled by my journey with my wonderful son Jaden. Jaden Elijah was born in October 2016.
In May of 2020 during the heights of COVID, Jaden was diagnosed with Autism. They say when life throws you lemons, don’t get sour, just mix lemonade! Prior to this discovery, I would marvel in the way he interacted with the app ABCmouse.com.
Little did I know that this would help to propel his learning ability in light of the unknown. The beauty about this app was that it allowed him to learn while having fun. Hence to him, it didn’t feel like school. Therefore, in that same year I made a commitment to use my creative thinking and skills towards developing Jamaican games that were educational but filled with excessive laughter.
Our motto is “Learning Through Laughter”.. Everyday, despite my challenges, I am learning through Jaden’s laughter. Inspired By Jaden is a “Lemonade” – A very tall refreshing glass that fills one immensely and quenches the souls’ thirsts… Everything in this life that I do is inspired by Jaden.
Inspired by the Jamaican culture and folklore the Guesswah™ board game was created by Patrice Johnson, the self-motivated, innovative, driven, enterprising, proud single mom and CEO / founder of Inspired By Jaden.
Guesswah™ was born from her need to find wholesome entertainment for a wide demography of gamers who share a passion for social interaction in both private and public group settings.
Guesswah™ is a creative and meaningful way of realizing her dream of combining her love for the social scene and event management, as well as her pride and patriotism for Jamaica, its people, customs and unique lifestyle.
